A while back my husband asked our then seven year old son, "What are you?"
"A human being." He said it with pride. Touche!

As soon as the feeling of " I " is left (during sleep) there is nothing (by all means) and the question is drawn back, like the light in the candle which exists as long as the candle and its wick exists. But still Indian Philosophy has given the correct answer as " Tat twam asi" means "that is you". The other question is what is heat and answer is "please touch the fire and the while your finger burn, the feeling from the experience is heat". So is the 'feeling of self'. It creates this body, it remains in this body and it leaves this body to accept another body, which we call death. But nobody knows that I am bound in this body and strive the whole life for food/drink and enjoyment, which is called as the "illusion". In fact I am dreaming and in my dreams, new dreams are involved in one after another, but when we awake., I understand I was sleeping and or I was dreaming
